“Varsity” Wins at Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest February 2nd 2018

             Pathological Films’ upcoming short film, “Varsity”, was an official selection at the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest located in Beverly Hills, California. The movie is a dark comedy with a logline of: “Set in a fictional Ivy League college in Southern Connecticut, Varsity follows two students over the course of a fall and spring semester as they try to live the life of traditional college students despite struggling with depression.”

            The screenplay, written by Jordan Cooper, the Executive Producer at Pathological Films, was an official selection in the Short Screenplay category. The contest’s goal is to foster new talent and provide opportunities to emerging screenwriters.

            “Varsity” will be seeking crowdfunding for production in 2019.
